Millennial Dream – a Music Show About the 2000s

On Piazza della Concordia in Borgo La Martella, “Millennial Dream” takes you through a decade: the 2000s. The years of transition from a still analogue world to an increasingly digital one – the first mobile phones, polyphonic ringtones, burnt CDs.

The show is structured like a day: the walk to school in the morning, afternoons in front of the TV watching cartoons whose theme tunes people still sing along to today, then the evening with cinema, music programmes and Festivalbar, which provided the soundtrack to summer, and on into the night.

The organiser is the Associazione “Amici del Borgo”. La Martella is one of the places to which the inhabitants of the Sassi were relocated in the 1950s – the settlement was built to plans by Ludovico Quaroni.
