Human Rights – “Cittadini del Mare” Project

An evening on human rights and the “Cittadini del Mare” manifesto, with three contributions on the right to asylum, local integration policy and borders.
The Associazione Energheia, together with the Sorbonne and the Fundación Valsaín, presents the manifesto “Cittadini del Mare” – Citizens of the Sea. Three contributions are on the programme:
- Who has the right to enter? The new European pact and what remains of the right to asylum – lawyer Francesca Napoli, Centro Astalli
- Local integration policy – Fabio Maratia, lecturer at the University of Bologna
- Borders and human rights – Andrea Fabozzi, editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper “Il Manifesto”
The event is under the patronage of the City of Matera. The discussion is in Italian.
